CRITICAL ANALYSIS
The film is full of Twists, Turns and Jumps which keep's
viewer's mind engrossed throughout. The film is mostly shot on one single
location and doesn't give you a boring view at all. The screenplay and
dialogues (Faisal Saif) of the film is so tight that it keep's giving you
Jolt's in every next scene. Faisal Saif is the same director who directed
Hrishitaa Bhatt's 2006 controversial 'Jigyaasa' which failed at the Box Office.
This time, He brings a Psycho Thriller and has succeeded in grabbing viewer's
attention through his story telling. Director Faisal Saif has executed each and
every scene of the film brilliantly. It almost very hard to make a Scary
Thriller but Saif has succeeded in making this. The taking of every shot
reminds you of a Quentin Tarantino cinema. The second best part of the film is
Background Score (Leonard Victor), The score grows on you with the moving
story. Pakistani actress Meera is the pillar of the story. She is highly
dramatic, menacing and yet manages to get the audiences root for her from the
very beginning. Supporting her is debutant Abhishek Kumar who performs his part
very well. He doesn't look like this is his debut film. Another debutant Kavita
Radheshyam is a surprise packet of the story. She is the same actress who
landed in controversy with her semi-naked photo shoot on Save Tiger campaign. Shahwar Ali, Nasser Abdulla and Ranjeet are
very good in their respective parts. The songs of the film are good, But such
Genre doesn't really required songs and dances. The Editing (Ashutosh) and
camerawork (Sumesh K.Chandran) is crispy and outstanding. Production and
technical values are fair.
TRADE ANALYSIS
The film is very less Publicized and less Promoted film. The
film's with Zero awareness has only one hope tagged with them is
word-of-mouth.The film is also Pakistani actress Meera's second bollywood
come-back film, but she has been not come to India for the promotion of the film.
According to sources she is in Pakistan
and praying for Ramadan. Also Kavita Radheyshyam’s controversy is not able
promote the film. While
the film is the spice of all kinds.
Ath the Box Office 5
GHANTEY MIEN 5 CRORE should not be missed and only word of mouth publicity will
help this film grow.
