Veer is a period film that disregards history, a legend with an uninspiring hero, a costume drama with chintzy attire, and a romance with no passion.The bravest and the strongest of the Pindaris is Veer (Salman). As he goes against the might of the British Empire, he also needs to fight the cunning King of Madhavgarh and also his own jealous community people.
Veer loved to Yashodhara, she is the daughter of enemy. This film has battle with swords and huge love towards land. Veer has given so many beautiful dialogs for saving his mother land. He has fight against British and other land enemies
Salman Khan plays Veer, a colonial-era ruffian, who belongs to a fierce tribe called the Pindaris. His father, Prithvi Singh (played by Mithun Chakraborty, who gives the only terrific performance in the film), is one of the leaders of the community. The Pindaris are betrayed by the king of Madhavgarh (Jackie Shroff), who’s in cahoots with the British, and the Pindaris want to oust both from their land. Prithvi sends Veer and his goofy younger brother Punya (played by Salman’s real-life brother, Sohail Khan) to England to get an education and learn about their enemy from the inside. Once there, the proud warrior suddenly becomes an awkward adolescent, stripped of all mystery, with a schoolboy crush on his classmate, Yashodhara (Zarine Khan, in her Bollywood debut). The actress, who strikingly resembles Salman’s real-life girlfriend, Bollywood star Katrina Kaif, is as pretty as a porcelain doll—and just as stiff. There are no sparks between the two leads. Yashodhara turns out to be a princess—the daughter of Veer’s sworn enemy, the king of Madhavgarh. The action returns to India, and Veer is determined to win Yashodhara and fulfill his duty as a revenge-bent Pindari.

The story takes place in the late 1800s, but the filmmakers don’t correctly place it in that time period. Veer borrows from every Hollywood warrior epic in recent memory—Braveheart (1995), Gladiator (2000), Troy (2004), Alexander (2004), and Tristan & Isolde (2006)—blatantly lifting scenes and incorporating details from the various eras, from ancient Rome to medieval England.

The costuming is likewise schizophrenic. Veer’s traditional Pindari outfits are sharp but way too modern in style. The European clothes worn by the women only vaguely resemble Victorian fashion and appear to have been raided from a high school drama club’s cheap wardrobe. Little attempt is made at period hairstyles—the Western actresses even have unmistakably modern-day dos.

The non-Indian actors are distractingly bad—as is the case in so many Hindi films that feature Western characters. It’s a problem the industry needs to address as Bollywood movies are increasingly being set in the West and viewed by Western audiences.

Add CGI to the list of things wrong with this film. The excessive, unrealistic computer-generated imagery that mars so many Hollywood movies is unfortunately creeping into Bollywood, as evidenced by Veer. Hopefully, after this, Hindi filmmakers will resist the influx of gratuitous technology.
Veer has been made to show the legend of ancient time and love. Veer is the warrior of Udaigarh. This film made upon the British rules “Divide and rule”, and our Indian emperors trusted on them and finally they snatch the states of emperor. However, a Veer has live till his last breath for saving his land. He was toughest, bravest and strongest man named “Veer”.
Veer has been also released in Telugu Language.

Pyaar Impossible is said to be inspired by the hit British film Notting Hill, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant in lead roles. In Ankert University, California, Alisha (Priyanka Chopra) is the name of that dream everyone wished came true. The most beautiful girl on campus, she makes hearts flutter like leaves in the wind. Abhay has quietly loved Alisha all his life. One day he musters up enough courage to go and express his true feelings to her and realizes that it is never gonna happen. He comes to terms with the fact that Alisha is a Princess and he is just a Geek. That is when their ways eventually part. Later, their paths cross again, as Abhay is busy trying to launch his career. Fate again brings him face to face with the woman of his dreams, Alisha.Years later, after college, when life has taught Alisha some lessons and made her more mature. We meet him first in University where he falls for Alisha, knowing that there can never be anything between them.Abhay is a nerdy, awkward, socially challenged, bespectacled geek of the college who is so far removed from her world that she doesn’t even know that people like him actually exist. One day this geeky-looking Abhay even saves her from drowning, but circumstances keep him from seeing her again. Alisa doesn't recognize Abhay, and mistakes him as the new sitter she was expecting. Shahrukh Khan makes a guest appearance in this film which also has few songs featuring him along with other stars Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan and directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is about relationships and the changes that happen in people's lives when they fall in love. It opens in Trinidad with a spoiled brat son, Tej Dhanraj (Fardeen Khan). a rich Casanova who will never marry and hopes to inherit millions from his deceased father's estate. Shimmer is his best friend. Sushmita Sen plays the role of a successful supermodel called Shimmer who is a much sought after model in the West Indies.

Shimmer takes Samarpreet under her wing and transforms her into Samara, a svelte, sassy, saucy girl who sends her own hubby leering like a poodle. Meanwhile SRK is waiting for Shimmer to say yes to him. Fardeen Khan, as the playboy has gained a lot of weight and appears less attractive in this flick. Newcomer Ishitta Sharma is cute and decently-beautiful since she is impressive as the soft-spoken rural Punjabi girl but lacks the oomph factor which was much required for her character in the second halfSushmita Sen as the supermodel appears tired and bored in this story. She lacks the sensuality unlike which she usually appears in recent films. Johnny Lever hasn’t much to do and is disappointing.It is only when Shahrukh’s around, the proceedings entertain, but on the whole the film maker has lost an opportunity to come out with a hit, having SRK even if it is for special appearance.

But Tej is in for a rude shock. To be able to inherit the wealth of his deceased billionaire father, Tej has to marry his dad’s friend’s daughter who is in Punjab. So he has to leave his water skiing and bikini babes back in the Caribbean and fly to Punjab to marry a village girl. So Bonsai marries Samarpreet. But the next day he is back in Trinidad, without the village belle, Samarpreet Kapoor (Ishitta Sharrma) who is now her wife. Bonsai is back to his philandering ways in Trinidad and Tobago. Samarpreet is the typical Indian girl who is the 'sati savitri' type, and goes to any lengths to woo her husband. She packs her bags and leaves for the Caribbean only to find her husband canoodling with semi-clad babes.
Incidently, Samarpreet is knocked down by a speeding car. She wakes up at Shimmer's home where gets support from Shimmer and Pawan Raj Gandhi (Shahrukh Khan). Shimmer is embarrassed of Donsai's behavior. She hopes to reform him one day.

Not even Sushmita Sen and Shah Rukh Khan can save this film which has a terrible script and a jumble of strangely lined happenings. Even the veterans like Johnny Lever and Parikshit Sahni are wasted in this average fare.

3 idiots is the most remarkable film of 2009, which touches the right chord in people's heart with its witty story telling, marvelous acting and the incisive look which the film takes at the education system in India.

Inspired by Chetan Bhagat's novel, ‘Five Point Someone’ chronicles the tale of three friends who are room mates in an engineering college.

Farhan Qureshi (R. Madhavan), Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi), and Rancho or Rancchoddas Shyamaldas Chanchad (Aamir Khan) are three engineering students who share the same room in a hostel in one of the best engineering colleges in India.

Farhan and Raju are average students from modest backgrounds; Rancho is a wealthy genius who studies for the sheer joy of it. He has a passion for knowledge and his gift for creating machines that incurs the wrath of Professor Viru Sahastrabudhhe (ViruS) played brilliantly by Boman Irani.
It's a story of their hostel days that swings between Rancho's romance with the spirited Pia, and his clash with an oppressive mentor, Viru Sahastrabudhhe.

Finally, in misty mountains of unparalleled beauty, the friends find the key to the secret.

The story of these 3 friends is framed as a flashback from the present day, ten years after graduation. Immediately after the convocation, Raju and Farhan have lost contact with Rancho who disappeared during the graduation party, so they begin a journey to find him.

Chatur, who is now a wealthy and successful businessman, joins them in the search for Rancho, as he has a desire to settle a bet with Rancho, Raju and Farhan also find Pia and take her along with them to meet Rancho.

Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi come up with a commendable performance. Kareena Kapoor is there for a short role, and she is just marvelous.
The principal Virus (as called by the boys) is threatened by Rancho's talent, so he just labels him an "idiot" and even attempts to destroy his friendship with Farhan and Raju. Virus’ model student is Chatur Ramalingam (Omi Vaidya), a geek who lives by conforming to the expectations of the system, mindless cramming, and unethical means of destroying his competition. Meanwhile, Rancho also falls in love with Pia (Kareena Kapoor) who is a pre-med student and the principal’s daughter.

And then one day, suddenly, Rancho vanished...

The friend who influenced and inspired them to think creatively and independently, even as the conformist world called them three idiots. Where is the original idiot now?

Farhan and Raju embark on a quest for a lost buddy. On this journey, they encounter a long forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash, and a funeral that goes impossible out of control. As they make their way through the perilous landscape, another journey begins: their inner journey through memory lane and the story of their friend - the irrepressible free-thinker Rancho, who in his unique way touched and changed their lives.
Chatur Ramalingam played by Omi Vaidya is excellent and creates an impression with his acidic tongue and gestures in the movie. Mona Singh doesn't get much scope. Jaaved Jaffery is competent. Pareekshit Sahani is decent.

On the downside, some unbelievable filmy situations which can be excused as writer's liberty like the episode of Mona's delivery was a bit far stretched, and the conformist would disapprove scenes of the boys dropping off their trousers in the ragging scene and in subsequent scenes.

This film has tremendous youth appeal and feel-good factor and makes you laugh and in the process you learn the golden rules which it preaches is - Life is not about getting marks, grades but chasing your dreams.

3 Idiots isn't an ordinary film. It's a life-changing experience, and an insightful laugh - riot that talks about the most important of human pursuits: self-actualization.

A classic, brilliant and a highly entertaining film. What an awesome film to end the year 2009.

Paa is made by R. Balki who has penned the offbeat hit Cheeni Kum. He takes to direction with Auro which is as impressive as his first film.

Auro (Amitabh Bachchan) is an intelligent, witty 13 year old boy with an extremely rare genetic defect that causes accelerated ageing.

He suffers from a progeria like syndrome. Progeria is a debilitating disease where the child ages rapidly beyond his age. Kids affected by this problem lose all their hair, become bald and their veins begin to show prominently on their heads, which enlarge to a size beyond normal. Their teeth and eyes suffer also.

Mentally he is 13, very normal, but physically he looks 5 times older. Inspite of his condition, Auro is a very happy boy. He lives with his mother Vidya (Vidya Balan) who is a gynaecologist.
Paa has its moments that touch you, move you, moments that try to make you cry, and then that make you laugh, that make you feel warm Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role delivers a sweet performance, Abhishek and Vidya Balan are honest to their characters. The music is simple.

Abhishek Bachchan as a gen-next politician and he connects well. And more impressive performance is by Vidya Balan who portrays a strong, independent, modern Indian woman, and most importantly – a mother.

As for Auro’s character, this writer would honestly give maximum credit to the Prosthetic Make up artists rather than to the actor. No doubt, Amitabh has pitched in a yet another memorable performance, yet this is shadowed by the impressive and extraordinary efforts by Christien Tinsley and Dominie Till who wonderfully created the character of Auro - a complement which sportingly comes from Amitabh himself.

Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan) is a young progressive and a full of ideals politician. He is out to prove to the world that 'politics' is not a bad word. He is a man with a mission.

Auro is Amol's son. Paa is a rare story about a father-son, son-father relationship
The first half is about Auro’s Maa and the second half is about Auro’s Paa. There are times when the viewer feels that a 12 year old boy thinks and speaks like a guy double his age. The film could have been made shorter by about half an hour.

Emraan & Soha are trying their luck with 'Tum Mile' to set a new record at the box office. Sound track of 'Tum Mile' has already created weaves among the viewers.

Emraan Hashmi plays the role of 'Ali Taha' and Soha Ali Khan plays the role of 'Sanjana' who happens to be the ex-lovers and they meet again on a stormy night after six years, who has been separated as their relationship didn`t work out.

Circumstances force both of them to be under one roof, as Mumbai reels under turmoil in its darkest hours.

Tum Mile is a journey to the past and present life of two ex-lovers. The movie captures the ex-lovers changing personalities, attitudes and love.

Till intermission the narration keeps moving into the past and present lives of the couple and along with that also tries to establish the base for the Flood sequences. But the excessive emphasis on the romance part fails to create the required curiosity level, which is a must for a disaster movie. The strong build-up leading towards the watery climax is simply missing.
The movie has a good romantic story going on with a few good scenes and dialogues coming at regular intervals. Both Emraan & Soha have given good performances as required by an intense love story. They emote and relate well on screen. But Emraan now has to move on to some completely different roles in his career. He looks like doing the different & improvised versions of his own lover boy characters from his previous movies. Soha on the other hand gives a mature performance as a true lover caught between the choice of her career and love. Mantra, as Emraan’s friend makes a good impact throughout and Sachin Khedekar is hardly there for only one scene.
Musically, the soundtrack again has some good songs from the ever consistent Pritam. Though not as compelling and rich in lyrics, as his other recent hits, but still they sound good while watching the movie. However as usual, not all songs were needed in the script, which also needed crispier editing. Cinematography, Graphics and Art direction is fine, but nothing path breaking.

Acid Factory is some real action filmed in South Africa with cars blowing up and trucks all over the sublime Cape Town supported with breathtaking cinematography on land, sea and air.

A person’s memory is the source of all emotions. It is also the source of his guilt.
What if a killer would wake up one day with his memory erased?
Would his crimes cease to exist?
Faltering memory continually alters the constancy of truth. Short term memory loss denies you of an identity throwing you into an abyss of excruciating agony.

Acid Factory is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze of coma like sleep they have woken up from only to discover that reality could be a figment of their imagination.

Romeo (Fardeen Khan) wakes up in a deserted factory without any clue of how he got there and even about who he is. He has absolutely no memory and so is the case with several others who are captives in this secluded place.
The others Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Manoj Bajpayee and Danny Denzongpa wake up and they all have amnesia too. On probing around, they come to know that some of them have been shot who it is … each one of them fail to comprehend. Then they find out the sixth person Max (Diya Mirza) who is in the same condition as they are.

Eventually it is discovered that all of them have lost their memory due to the gas leak from a container and they are captives in the Acid Factory.

Their sense of right or wrong is heightened by this state of complete distrust and self righteousness. Now begins a morality play on the inside and a cat and mouse chase on the outside.

Danny Dengzongpa is stylish in his role, and Manoj Bajpai gets a complete makeover. Dino Morea and Aftab Shivdasani thankfully are natural. Fardeen Khan gives us glimpses of the style and grace of Feroze Khan.

The cool and sexy Dia Mirza, makes a solid impact, yet it is on her entry that she goes over the top. Irrfan Khan is chilling in portrayal of the negative character.
Among the few songs, one of them is by Manasi Scott who has written the lyrics, composed, sung and even enacted her song on screen.

It is an edgy and gritty cinema with grey characters. Here is an action thriller with a screenplay that blends seamlessly into past and then in present and then past… Acid Factory has sharp editing, cutting back and forth with sophisticated action scenes and moments which leaves the viewer breathless.
